Keep Those Teeth and Bathrooms Clean

Welcome back friends and family.  I wanna share this great idea with you all.  We all share the bathroom in our house.  We have a second "master bath" but it's no bigger than a closet and there is no room to get ready in there.  We only use it for the shower.  So this family of 4 shares one bathroom to get ready in the morning.  Fortunately for us, we all have different schedules and are not all trying to get in the bathroom all at the same time.  One of my pet peeves is the amount of yuck when it comes to teeth brushing.  There is the waste of using paper cups, or using the same cup over and over again (YUCK), the spit being on the counter, toothpaste somehow being on the wall and floor, the mouthwash spilling everywhere.  I decided enough was enough.  I found that if you put the mouthwash in a soap dispenser and use 6 pumps it dispenses the perfect amount of mouthwash and there is no spilling.  I found the soap dispenser at Walmart and these cute little cups at the Dollar Tree (6 for $1.25).

I thought it would be cute to use my Cricut to label the mouthwash.  I also used my Cricut to put our initials on our cups so we know who's cup is who's.

Once I got them cut and weeded it was time to put them on the cups and mouthwash dispenser.  I think they turned out so cute and will make getting ready in the morning and evening a little more fun and clean.

I used Mom, Dad, Bub and Sis for the initials due to having 2 of us with the same first initial.  This turned out so cute and was super easy to do and super inexpensive as I already had the vinyl.

Hope this inspires you to be creative in keeping your bathroom clean and tidy but also fun.  I'd love to hear from you.  Comment below what you think of this idea.  Let me know if you struggle with your kids making messes in the bathroom and how you are working towards keeping that clean.  Do you have any ideas or suggestions for future posts?  Let me know in the comments below.

Have a great day and I'll see you next time.

A Tip to Help With Chaotic Cleaning

Welcome back friends and family. Today we are gonna combine cleaning with a little crafting.  How many of us, while cleaning house, find things that belong in the kids rooms or the living room or the bathroom or even your room?  Well, in this post I'm going to show you how I've taken steps to combat this because this drives me crazy when I already clean like I have ADHD. Now I'm not saying anything negative about ADHD because both my kids have been diagnosed with ADHD so I understand how this can affect someone and their lives. I'm simply saying that when I clean I cannot stay focused on a task because I'm constantly picking things up and going to another room where I see something else that needs to be done and I start working on that, etc. I then forget to go back and finish what I've already started. I still struggle with this every time I clean but this little tip/trick has helped a lot. I also call this "Chaotic Cleaning". I have found these great...

Using Dollar Tree's LA's Totally Awesome

Welcome back friends and family. Did you know that Dollar Tree's LA's Totally Awesome brand has a ton of products for your home?  There is everything from the original cleaner (yellow stuff in the bottle) to laundry detergent to bathroom cleaner.  I just got some of the original cleaner last weekend and I've got to tell you it is totally awesome.                              (This is a stock photo taken from Dollar Tree's website.) I did some checking around and have found that this can be purchased at other retailers and other online store but it is more expensive and you get less product. This bottle here is $1.25 for 32 Fl. Oz. Or 12 for $15.00.  You can get 2 bottles of the exact same thing on Amazon but they are currently $10 but it was $14.99.  I love Amazon and shop online all the time but why pay $5 when I can pay $1.25?  Again I love to save money and do things with a...

Quick and Easy DIY Decor

Welcome back friends and family. Today if like to show you a quick little DIY. I found this  little sign at Dollar Tree a few weeks ago and thought it was cute as is but wanted to make it just a bit better.  Now, like I said, this is cute as is and can easily be placed on a shelf or a tired tray and be perfect for you. I wanted it to be a little extra. I removed the flower but will keep it for another project. It came right out without any extra tools or anything.  The next thing I did was to sand away any rough surface around the hole. Once that was done I used just a regular black sharpie and put dots and small lines all along the outside of the letters just to make them stand out just a little more. I think it really made the letters pop and made it look just a bit more high end.  I found this really cute garland with wooden beads and these little circles with sailboats back when Dollar Tree had all their nautical décor out at t...
